Consumer Research Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1. By taking part in the Prize Draw you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. The prize draw is being run by Ipcress Consultancy on behalf of Kensington Mortgage Company Limited (‘Kensington’) trading as Kensington (registered in England No. 3049877), registered at: Ascot House, Maidenhead Office Park, Maidenhead, SL6 3QQ. Kensington Mortgage Company Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Firm Reference No. 310336).

Eligibility to enter

3. To enter the Prize Draw the entrant must be eligible and follow the instructions as explained in this document.

4. Entrants must be existing customers of Kensington Mortgage Company Limited and invited by email to participate in consumer research between 3rd October 2024 and 3rd November 2024.

5. A maximum of one entry per individual is allowed.

6. The prize draw is free to enter.


How to Enter

7. To enter into the Prize Draw entrants must: (1) be invited by email to participate in consumer research by Kensington and (2) follow the instructions in the email and online and participate in the research.

8. The Prize Draw entry runs from 12pm on 3rd October 2024 to 11.59pm on 3rd November 2024 (being the “Prize Draw Period”). Entries after that time and date will not be included in the draw.

 

The Prize

9. The prize for the winner will be £1,000. No alternative will be offered, or negotiation entered into. Prizes are non-negotiable and non-transferrable.

10. The winner for the Prize Draw will be drawn at random from the entrants by Kensington at the end of the Prize Draw Period.

 

Winner Announcement

11. The winner will be notified of their win by way of email to the email account provided. The winner must respond within 10 days to confirm how they would like to receive the prize.

12. If the winner does not respond to the private message within 10 days of it being sent Kensington reserves the right to award the prize instead to the next entry drawn at random.

13. To the extent that privacy laws permit, the name of the winner will be available upon request 10 days after the competition by emailing Kensington at yourexperience@kensingtonmortgages.co.uk, with the subject header “Winner – Consumer Research Prize Draw” the disclosure of which entrants are by entering the Prize Draw deemed to consent.

 

Data Protection

14. By entering into the Prize Draw the entrant agrees that any personal data they provide may be held and used by Kensington in accordance with Kensington’s privacy policy for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw.

Limitation of Liability

16. Kensington and its associated agencies and companies does not accept any liability for any loss, expense or damage, other than such liability that cannot be excluded by law including death or personal injury caused by negligence, where liability shall be limited to the minimum permissible by law.

17. Any costs associated with entering into the Prize Draw including but not limited to the cost of collection of prizes, tax liability or participating in the event shall not be Kensington’s responsibility.


General

18. If Kensington in its absolute discretion believes that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions by an entrant, we may invalidate the relevant entry and disqualify the entrant from the Prize Draw irrespective of the stage in the Prize Draw reached.

19. Kensington reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend the Prize Draw at any time with no liability to any entrant or any third party.

20. Kensington’s decision in all matters relating to the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

21. The Prize Draw and its Terms and Conditions are subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
